The Toll Gate High School auditorium was filled with proud families, students, faculty and staff for two special honors ceremonies in May. The ceremonies, presided over by Principal Mrs. Candace Caluori, served as an annual tribute to the hard work and remarkable academic accomplishments of our student body.

The celebrations began on Tuesday, May 19, with the initiation of 28 students into the Modern World Language Honor Society, and the induction of 34 juniors into the National Honor Society. The ceremonies recognize academic achievement and the global citizenship of our junior and senior classes. Book awards were presented by our Assistant Principals Mr. Todd Grimes and Mr. Brad Martin, and 28 Senior members of the National Honor Society were presented with certificates and cords.

On Wednesday, May 27, the spotlight turned to our graduating seniors during the Rhode Island Honor Society induction. Mrs. Caluori introduced the Class of 2026 Valedictorian Sanvi Parekh and Salutatorian Jaylene Le. Essayist Samantha Lin addressed the audience with a heartfelt speech to her fellow classmates. Department chairs announced a variety of awards, while representatives from various scholarship funds attended to personally present awards to the honorees. We are thrilled to announce that our students were awarded over $400,000 in scholarships, a testament to their incredible potential and the bright futures that lie ahead for the Class of 2026!
