The Toll Gate News Room is a new club at TGHS this year. Mr. Mercier is the club advisor. Here's a little about the club from senior member, Jacob Ballsmith:
Our official club name is the Toll Gate News Room. We meet after school every week on Tuesdays and also during advisory on Wednesdays and Thursdays. We release a video every week about what’s happening at Toll Gate. We create scripts for the short stories and the sports section and then record some of the parts like the weather on Tuesday when we meet. On Wednesdays we record the main parts of the news video and then edit the video on Wednesday if we have time or Thursday. This is our first year as a club so we are constantly trying to improve and become more efficient. If any student wants to join, come on down to room A107 and we will make you a club member. You can also come down if you have something interesting for us to share!
